Pumpkin Patch, Here We Come...

This weekend has been- COLD! Not too cold to keep us away from the pumpkin patch though. Alyssa was so excited about going. She woke me up this morning and said, "Mommy, get dressed, it's time to go to the punkin patch to get the biggest punkin I ever seen!" So around lunchtime, Mommy, Alyssa, Audrey, and cousin Hill headed to Hayden to search out the perfect pumpkin. The pumpkin patch was CROWDED. We started out with a little fun on the inflatable slide and dragon and then piled into the covered wagon to get our pumpkin.


Alyssa insisted she needed two of them because she is 2 1/2. After finding our pumpkins and a few photo ops, Alyssa wanted to get her face painted. She has been looking at the candy corn picture she chose all afternoon in the mirror. Not sure how she's going to feel when we wash it off in the bathtub tonight; I think she thinks it's permanent. After the face painting, Alyssa chose a white pony named Trigger to ride and then we all headed home. We had a great time and both of the girls were asleep within a matter of minutes on the way home.
