This year, Alyssa, Audrey, and I headed to Gardendale to watch their Christmas parade with my mom (Nana) and my grandmother (Granny). It was FREEZING, but neither of the girls seemed to mind. Audrey actually took a little nap out in the cold. All of the floats this year were cartoon characters so Alyssa had a great time waving at them and yelling hi. Elmo, the 101 Dalmations, and Barney were her favorites- and Santa of course! I thought the "Molar Express" float from the orthodontist's office was pretty hysterical myself. We all had a great time even though we were popscicles by the time we left. Thank goodness for the free hot chocolate or we really would have been frozen!
