Sounds Like Life to Me

We are FINALLY starting to get back into the swing of things since Alyssa started school and everyone's schedule has changed. We are also LOVING the cooler weather we've had the past couple of days. It actually feels like fall! We've been pretty low-key the past week or so. We stayed in our pjs all day last Saturday and then watched the Bama game from home. We've also watched a lot of Strawberry Shortcake and done a lot of cooking- in the toy kitchen that is. Not so much in our actual kitchen. :) Although, Alyssa did want to make sugar cookies last night. We decorated them with bright blue icing and purple and pink sprinkles (lots of them). Audrey of course had to decorate her own. Most of the icing went straight into her mouth though. Alyssa insisted on taking some cookies for her preschool teachers since they were so yummy!

This week is orange week at preschool, and Alyssa has reminded me every day that she has to wear orange on Friday and that she wants to wear her orange pumpkin shirt to school. Good thing tomorrow is October the 1st since Halloween shirts are the only orange the kid owns. Oh, and the latest funny from preschool- Alyssa came home and announced to her daddy, "I have a man now. He's named Cooper." You should have seen the look on Jared's face. Not what he was expecting to hear. I started laughing and he glared at me and said, "It's not funny!" I don't think he wants to hear about that for another twenty years or so- ha! The teenage years will be interesting for sure.
