The past couple of weeks have been a little crazy here at the Freeman house. After Alyssa got over her ear infection, Audrey decided it was her turn to get sick. She was sick for several days. We had plans to go to Boo at the Zoo last Friday night, but since Audrey wasn't feeling well, we decided to try again on Saturday. Friday night both girls had the stomach bug and started throwing up so..... no zoo Saturday either. Alyssa was devastated. She cried so much Friday when we couldn't go that we had to go ahead and do some pumpkin carving to calm her down. Needless to say, when she found out we weren't going Saturday either- she was not a happy camper, even though she was in no shape to go. By Sunday afternoon, Alyssa was back to herself and Audrey was on her way to feeling better too so.... Nana and Mommy decided a trip to the zoo was called for. We didn't attempt costumes, but both girls loved riding the "choo-choo" and the carousel. Alyssa was so proud of herself for not crying when they turned the lights out.

She was also super pumped about getting her face painted. She chose a kitty in honor of Wild Elevenhundred. :) Audrey got a butterfly on her hand- and sat so still while they were painting.

After a little trick-or-treating (which Audrey LOVED) and a Halloween hayride (where it started to rain on us), we decided to call it a night.

We were all exhausted, but had lots of fun. Stay tuned for Halloween pics of Little Bo Peep and her little sheep(coming soon) ...
