Twas' the Night Before Christmas

We were super busy this Christmas Eve. We woke up early to finish up our cooking and headed over to Mama Mia and PawPaw's house about mid-morning to eat lots of food and open presents with all of Alyssa's cousins. The girls don't get to see them very often and had a blast playing outside with Caitland, Kristin, and Brooke. After that everyone headed home to re-energize with a nap. When we woke up, we baked and decorated cookies for Santa. Alyssa may have gone a little overboard with the sprinkles, but she assured me Santa was a HUGE fan of sprinkles. That night, Nana and Pappy (my parents), my brothers, and my Granny came over to eat snacks and open more presents. The girls also opened their presents from everyone in California. As usual, they were spoiled rotten with new outfits, shoes, dolls, purses, Lego's, robes, and movies- and that was before Santa came!
