Last Sunday night, the weatherman was predicting snow and ice for Alabama, so along with everyone else we rushed out to buy our bread and milk. Then we headed over to Nana and Pappy's to spend the night since Daddy had to spend the night at work. Mommy didn't want to have to test out her fire-starting capabilities if the power went out. It started sleeting late Sunday afternoon and around 8:30, the sleet turned to SNOW! The next morning, Nana and Pappy's yard was covered with snow- SO PRETTY! We recruited Uncle Cannon and Pappy to play in the snow with us and had so much fun sledding, having a snowball fight, and building snowmen. Alyssa made a small one herself and helped Uncle Cannon build a bigger one. Before too long, we were all pretty frozen and headed inside to warm up and eat lunch. While Audrey was napping, Alyssa and Uncle Cannon headed out for round 2 in the snow. Not long after they came inside, Daddy came to pick us up since Mommy's car couldn't handle the icy roads yet. On a sidenote, it has been FREEZING here this week, and our yard is still covered in snow in some places. Mommy didn't have to go to school at all this week. We love snow, but we've had our fun, so.... spring, we're ready when you are :)
