Let's Get This Summer Started!

This week Mommy, Alyssa, and Audrey's summer officially started and we've been having tons of fun. We spent the past weekend partying ourselves out at Alyssa's friend Savannah's wet n'wild 4th birthday party and at Miss Gatelyn's 2nd birthday. Monday and Tuesday were spent playing outside and having campouts and popcorn in the living room floor in our pjs. On Wednesday, the girls and I headed up to the lake for some fun with my friend Stacy. The girls had a blast, especially Audrey. She was a little daredevil swimming in the lake and had no fear. They both loved riding the jetski and the boat too. Alyssa couldn't wait to call her daddy and tell him she had driven a boat. Now she wants to know when she can drive a car since "I already know how to drive a boat, Mommy." Now we're home just in time for VBS, where Alyssa has been having a great time this week learning songs, making crafts, playing games, and learning about Bible stories. Tomorrow night is the kids' performance and a jump fest with lots of inflatables. Not to mention, Daddy will be home for the weekend after a week of training. And.........Audrey is now potty trained! No more changing diapers for this mommy! Yay! These girls are loving our summer so far!!!
