Last Sunday, our sweet #2 baby turned FIVE!!! I cannot believe it. She has grown so much over the past year. She is a little bookworm, and she LOVES being read to. She leaves a trail of books behind her wherever she goes. She is so very stubborn, but so very sensitive. She will cry at the drop of a hat. She loves to collect random things, and we are constantly finding bags and backpacks full of her "treasures" around the house. She never wants to get rid of anything. She wants to change clothes like 10 times a day. Every time you turn around, she's in a different outfit! She still loves her baby dolls. She still loves her blanket and her lovey, especially when she's sick. She loves to snuggle with her Mommy and Daddy before bed. She CANNOT stay up late. We find her asleep before her bedtime around the house more often than not.
We celebrated Audrey's big day by having a party at our house with
several of her preschool friends, family friends, and our family. It was
a beautiful day to be outside and the kids had fun jumping the morning
away. Miss Alyssa fell off the monkey bars early on though, and for a
minute, we thought she might have broken her foot. She's still sporting a
nasty bruise all over the top of her foot. Alyssa had to spend most of
the party inside icing her foot, but the party continued outside. Audrey
was spoiled rotten and is now the proud owner of lots of new LalaLoopsy
dolls (her new obsession). Had such a fun day with our little princess and can't wait to see what the next year holds!
