On Saturday, my friends Tracy and Kristen threw a shower for Audrey. Alyssa had a great time at the shower. As soon as we walked in, she made a beeline for the gifts and started throwing tissue paper all over the place. She thought that everything was for her! She was a very big help at opening the gifts, all of them except the one that was for her. When she saw what was in the bag though (a Big Sister tee from Dusti and Tracy), she put it on and wouldn't let me take it off of her for the rest of the day. We ate lots of yummy food and Alyssa had a blast playing with the pink balloons (or "boons" as she calls them). By the time the shower was over, Alyssa had worn herself out and we came home and took a very LONG nap together. It was a very fun day and I'm lucky to have such great friends and family!!
