Springtime Fun

Today was a gorgeous day, so Mommy, Alyssa, Audrey, Lee-Lee, Hill, and Madison and Isaac (my aunt Marilee's grandkids) took an outing to the zoo. It was absolutely packed!!! I've never seen so many people at the zoo before. Alyssa had a great time and walked like a big girl almost the entire time. She even let Madison (6) borrow her stroller when Madison was tired of walking.

Alyssa saw lots of animals and loved all of them, but the rhino was her favorite.

She kept saying, "Rhino too big!" Some other winners were the crocodile, hippo, lion, wombats, and flamingo.

Another highlight from the day was Alyssa's camel ride with Hillary. She wasn't sure about it at first and started crying, but once they got going she LOVED it. She was yelling, "Look Mommy, Alyssa riding camel. Have to hold on tight!"

Audrey was such a good baby and was cooing and laughing at people while we were strolling along and then went to sleep without the first cry.
After our day at the zoo, Alyssa was exhausted, was asleep before we made it to the interstate, and slept the whole way home. At home, we finished out our day with some grapes, a banana, a bath, and a little coloring. What a fun way to spend the day!!!
