Birthday Party Saturday

Last Saturday was a day for parties- birthday parties. We started the day off with cinnamon rolls, puzzles, blocks, and a little story time. Around 12:30, Mommy started trying to get Alyssa to calm down enough to take a nap, so she would be refreshed for the parties later in the afternoon. Alyssa finally fell asleep and woke up just in time to get ready and go. First, we headed to "Gandaddy's" house. That is Alyssa's name for her great-grandfather: my mother's dad. Everyone was coming over to celebrate his 73rd birthday. We had some yummy chocolate cake and homeade peach ice cream. Later that evening, we headed to Lee-Lee's to have MORE cake and ice cream for Hill's 20th birthday. This time white cake and vanilla ice cream. We also had hot dogs and hamburgers- just to throw in a little actual food. It was a very fun, but very tiring day- Alyssa and Audrey both fell asleep on the way home and were sent to bed without baths- a very unusual thing in our house! Enjoy our pics!!
