Allie turned one on March 27th. At her one year check-up, she weighed in at 21 pounds, 2 ounces and was 31 inches long. Developmentally, she was right on track. She started walking at 11 months (check out her first steps...), had four teeth (2 on top and 2 on bottom), and would eat anything you put in front of her (and still will). Some of her new favorite things were blowing kisses and saying bye-bye to EVERYONE even if they left the room, and she loved doing the hand motions to the Itsy-Bitsy Spider (cutest thing ever!). She was saying more and more words every day (mama, dada, dog, no, more, nana (banana), and eat to name a few) She's determined to keep up with those big sisters of hers!

We had her party the week before her actual birthday since Auntie Jasmine and Isaac were here for a visit. (Yay!) The plan was to grill burgers and hot dogs and let the kids bounce the afternoon away in our backyard. The weather had other plans though. We moved the party from Saturday to Sunday because the forecast predicted thunderstorms, but it rained on Sunday too!!! Luckily, Daddy was able to get the food cooked before the downpour. We ate in the garage and by the time we had finished cake and ice cream, the rain had stopped. Lots of wet towels and drying later, the kids were able to spend the rest of the afternoon in the bouncy house. A fun filled day celebrating our little miss!
