Today was a very busy day for Mommy, Alyssa, and Audrey. This morning we all headed to Mommy's friends house to have brunch with some of Mommy's friends. Alyssa loved eating the yummy donuts and cheese danish and had a blast playing with Dusti. She also loved her baby Mr. Potato Head Mommy's friend gave her (Thanks Kristen!). By the time we got home, it was time for a nap. Alyssa woke up to a house full of people. Nana, Pappy, Granny and Grandmother (Alyssa and Audrey's two great-grandmothers), and Mommy's cousins Candace and Autumn and their kids had come to eat some lasagna and let the girls exchange presents. Mariyah is 2 weeks older than Alyssa and Summer is 2 months younger. Brooklyn is a month younger than Audrey. Alyssa loved the doll stroller Mariyah gave her. The girls fought over it all afternoon. Spending an afternoon with 5 little girls will wear you out!!! After everyone left Alyssa helped Mommy clean up while Audrey slept, and then Alyssa and Mommy made a gingerbread house. Alyssa loved making the gingerbread house and wanted to do everything herself (as I'm sure you can tell by the picture I posted). Of course, she had to snack on a few gumdrops (all that hard work makes a girl hungry) and ate the head off of the gingerbread man who lived there. All in all, everyone had a very fun, but very tiring day. Now we're all off to bed!
